Austin based The Bright Light Social Hour hit the road in support of their debut full-length album, S/T, released in late 2010. Having recently swept the 29th Annual Austin Music Awards during SXSW 2011 with six wins, including Band of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year ("Detroit"), the band is eager to take their unique brand of fists-up rock and roll meets muscular deep-funk on the road. Having grown their reputation through exhilarating widely-acclaimed live shows, the unabashedly wide-screen rock group displays a fun-loving and innovative brew of American music of varying types - hard rock and roll, indie, rhythm and blues, psychedelic, dance and soul.
